Payer Contracts

Manage contracts with payers

Here we shall set up our contracts with payers. This module is feature-rich since it includes multiple state-of-the-art services that will facilitate our daily operations greatly.

Creating a Contract

Starting off with creating a new contract. Select the payer and corresponding plan. There are 2 ways to add your contracts, either manually or direct import from a previously set contract.

For the first time ever, you will have to choose a service from categories list or you can directly type to search for items. Carefully select the items you want then add standard price for the service. The standard price is basically the service base price to the public i.e. with no discount. Then if applied, you can choose to apply a specific patient copayment or payer reimbursement. Choose the suitable percentage change from the quick presets. Then choose Apply To (both patient and payer, or only one of them) and Apply On (current page or all pages).

Once a contract is created, any time a patient from this payer conducts a priced service, all corresponding billings will be automatically calculated. If the contract is approved by the payer, the payer platform will share the same information. This consensual step is important for your privacy.

Sharing with Payer

To share a contract with the payer, simply navigate to payer enrollments. Click on send request, choose the payer and add any notes you feel useful. Once submitted, all contracts you added with this specific payer will be sent for approval. The admin on lnkr payer platform will revise the pricing then approve or decline the request.

If approved, all visits of patients for this payer will be automated in a precise way and instantly shared between the provider and the payer. So make sure to continuously revise your contracts.

Contracts List

As you can see, here is the list of contracts available for this account. User can easily filter by payer, service category.

Click on an item to view its details. There is an edit and delete button.

Service Code Mapping

The final section here is Service Code Mapping. This shall only be used in case your organization has its own internal coding system unlike CPT, ICD, etc. In which case, you will be prompted to download a template, fill up the fields required as per the instructions, then upload it again.

Note that this shall only be used in case you have your own internal coding system.
