Tarek Abdel Hamid is a seasoned telecom commercial and transformation executive with over 25 years of leadership experience in strategy, marketing, business development, and operational excellence in Egypt’s highly competitive telecommunications sector.

He currently serves at TE Data (Telecom Egypt’s broadband and data services arm), where he has played a key role in driving commercial growth, customer value creation, and digital transformation initiatives. His expertise spans value-based pricing, strategic planning, brand management, and customer experience — areas critical for scaling technology platforms in emerging markets.

Tarek brings deep insight into Egypt’s digital infrastructure landscape, regulatory environment, and consumer behaviour in tech-enabled services. His strategic thinking has been recognised by peers, with one colleague noting him as “one of the best commercial strategy brains” whose integrity and results-oriented approach deliver measurable impact.
