Dr. Naser Fouad is a distinguished Egyptian-British psychiatrist, healthcare entrepreneur, investor, and royal appointee with over three decades of leadership in specialist mental health and rehabilitation services. In 2018, he made history as the first Egyptian-born British citizen — and the first Coptic Christian — to be appointed His Majesty’s Deputy Lieutenant of Cheshire, a prestigious Crown honour that recognises outstanding service to the county.
Having qualified as a psychiatrist in Egypt, Dr. Fouad moved to the United Kingdom in 1992 and worked in the NHS before founding the St George Healthcare Group. Starting with a single care home, he built and led a network of specialist hospitals and rehabilitation services across Cheshire and Greater Manchester, focusing on medium- and low-secure brain injury, neurological conditions, and holistic mental health care. Under his vision, the group delivered seamless care pathways from secure units to community reintegration, enabling hundreds of patients to return to independent living. After more than a decade of sustainable, high-quality operations, the hospitals were successfully sold to strategic operators, generating strong returns. His pioneering work earned him the EY Entrepreneur of the Year Award in 2016.
Today, as Chairman and Chief Executive of NHMC Investments & Credit Group, Dr. Fouad leads major cross-border healthcare and medical education initiatives. He is driving landmark projects in Egypt, including the development of the Medical British District — an integrated ecosystem of advanced healthcare, innovation, and world-class medical education in partnership with leading UK institutions such as Aston University. He also holds a Doctor of Business Administration from the University of Hertfordshire (2018).
A committed philanthropist, Dr. Fouad is the founder and Chairman of St Mark’s Universal Copts Care, a UK-registered charity supporting healthcare access, disability services, and community programmes in the UK, Egypt, and the Middle East. He serves as Founder Patron of Warrington Youth Zone and Patron of Warrington Disability Partnership, and has been deeply involved in numerous charitable initiatives across both countries for more than 25 years.
Dr. Fouad brings unparalleled expertise in healthcare operations, large-scale project development, cross-border investment, and institutional partnerships to the board of Lnkr Tech. His strategic insight and proven ability to transform healthcare delivery across the UK and MENA region make him a powerful asset in advancing the company’s mission to build Egypt’s — and the region’s — most comprehensive smart healthcare ecosystem.
