Marcos Salib is the Founder and CEO of Lnkr, a pioneering healthtech company launched in 2022 that is building Egypt's and the MENA region's first comprehensive smart healthcare ecosystem. Lnkr delivers an end-to-end digital infrastructure designed to organize, structure, and democratize health information, connecting patients, providers, payers, pharmacies, and institutions in real time to eliminate fragmentation, reduce administrative burdens, and drive better clinical and financial outcomes across the healthcare value chain.

With a strong technical foundation in Mechatronics Engineering from Helwan University in Cairo and advanced studies in Robotics and Artificial Intelligence at the Technical University of Munich (TUM) in Germany (2017–2019), where he also served as Assistant Lecturer and tutor for university-level business mathematics, Marcos brings deep expertise in cloud architecture (AWS scaling, cost optimization, and FinOps), AI/ML, robotics and computer vision, microservices, production systems, and health data interoperability (FHIR/HL7). His early career includes hands-on engineering roles at Orascom Construction Industries (Grand Egyptian Museum project) and Ghabbour Automotive Group's Young Leadership Program.

Under his leadership, Lnkr has rapidly scaled to operate over 21 interconnected production applications—including advanced Hospital Information Systems (HIS) with CPOE/orders/results/pharmacy/lab/radiology modules, digital prescriptions, in-patient management, SOPs for hospital workflows, real-time Health Information Exchange (HIE), claims and insurance processing, payer benefits, AI-powered validation/chatbots, and mobile apps via React Native Expo/Capacitor. The platform handles more than 65,000 transactions per month at 99% uptime while delivering over 25% AWS cost reduction through disciplined FinOps practices. Lnkr is currently operational in Egypt, Libya, and Oman, with expansion plans underway for Saudi Arabia and the UAE. The company continues to bootstrap its growth while pursuing government contracts, regulatory compliance (NPHIES/NPHEIS, FRA), strategic collaborations, and a long-term path toward public markets.

Marcos combines engineering rigor, operational leadership, academic insight, and entrepreneurial drive with a relentless hands-on focus on execution.
